Step 1: Choose Your Exam Sections

The first step is selecting the sections you plan to write. Under the 2025 CPA Evolution model, all candidates must take three core exams and choose one discipline:

Core Sections (mandatory)

Auditing and Attestation (AUD)
Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR)
Regulation (REG)

Discipline Sections (Choose One)

Business Analysis and Reporting (BAR)
Information Systems and Controls (ISC)
Tax Compliance and Planning (TCP)

Step 3: Register for Your Exams

How to Schedule Your CPA Exam:

Create a NASBA Account: Visit the NASBA Portal and set up your profile.
Apply for Exam Sections: Choose and apply for the specific section you’re ready to take.
Receive Your Notice to Schedule (NTS): This is your official authorization to book your exam.
Book Your Exam via Prometric: Head over to Prometric and use your NTS to schedule your test. It’s best to book at least 30 days in advance to secure your preferred dates and test location.
